How has Webkinz changed since it first began?

Just in the 5 months or so that I've been on Webkinz, it has changed a lot! Since then, they have added the pet of the month, got a full-size window, added actions, room themes, a game, a bowling alley, etc. I was wondering what it was like in the very beginning. What changes have you seen since you have been on? And how long have you been a member? Thanks!

ive been a member for 8 months and thats all they really added, except the clubhouse which out of my 13 webkinz only the 1st 1 has gotten 2 go in
That's a good question, but sadly I don't have an answer! I have only been a member since February of this year, nothing has changed since then except the things you have already described. Thanks for asking a good question though, you don't seem to get them anymore on yahoo answers... Also congrats on being a Top Contributor! I know I a bit late but better late then never! =]

Oh wow, lots have changed! Well first of all, I've been a member since as long as I can remember. Webkinz started in April, and I became a member in...September?...October? Something like that. Well first thing, instead of a medium room with every adoption, they gave you a large room. Also on the plush animals, they didn't even have the W symbol on their foot! Also, they didn't have the Curio Shop, and when it did come out it didn't have the gem hunt. That was added months after. There was no such thing as an Employment Office either. There were other games in the arcade like Dolphin Dash, Skater Cat, and some other game that was like Polar Plunge, but I can't remember the name of it. Plumpy was also different, she didn't have a wig or clothes or anything. Just her glasses, and that's it. And they didn't even have Lil' Kinz! I remember when they first came out! The first original webkinz that were avaliable to the public were the cow, the pig, the black bear, the hippo, the elephant, the golden retriever, the cocker spaniel, and the basset hound. There were also no trading cards and no charms. Lots has changed, and it's really fun to watch all the changes! But I do really miss the old webkinz. It was just so simple and cute. :)
It's changed a lot. New formats, games changing. I miss Solitaire. Clubhouse added. Academy added. More jobs. More zones. New W Shop items. More Webkinz.
I've been a member since January 31, 2007 I've noticed MANY changes just in that time.
