The Fall Festival is an annual Webkinz/Ganz event that happens from October 20th - 26th. I've heard that random leaves will fall, and if you click on one, you get a gift that you can only get at the Fall Festival. I've also heard that there will be special things on the "Daily Events" during this time period.
The fall festival occurs when a leave falls anywhere on your screen. You click on the leave and you get a gift you cant get anywhere else. It is October 20th through 26th.
