1. yes this has happened to me. They do this so that way they can update and fix any problems with the game. they also do this so that way younger children can't sneak on the computer and play with thier webkinz after everyone has gone to bed.
2. that's a smart plan. I'm sure there are some parents who appreciate that. fighting insomnia now too, what else are they going to think of next.
